Servitude of Submissive Living
Introduction
Giving service is one of the most valuable experiences for a submissive of Subfit.
Not only is it rewarding to know that one has helped others to taste the nectar of servitude, but it is also a wonderful source of growth and strength for one’s own submission.
Hundreds of Subfit courses will be conducted each year. These courses are made possible through the volunteer efforts of grateful Old submissives. ("Old submissives" are ones that have taken a previous 10-day residential course)
Without the assistance of Old submissives who feel a volition to give to others a little of what they have received from their participation in the Subfit courses, the courses could not be organized and conducted.
Long Term Subfit Service
Long Term Subfit servers work at the Center for an extended period of time, serving multiple courses or helping with other aspects of running the Center. This extended period of service provides a great opportunity to deepen one’s submission and have a vital role in Center operations.
Long Term Servers will be the sustaining force at the Subfit Community. The program is set up to accommodate those who have from two to twelve months or more to spend giving service at the Center. The process begins with serving several courses, and if the Center atmosphere is mutually beneficial one may then complete a Long Term Server application and have an interview with Master Lady L and the Center Dommes.
Most Long Term Servers serve on courses, however, after some time they may move into other work such as landscaping, office, or committee work.
A major role for Long Term Servers is in Center slave. Periodically, openings will become available for Center slave and other roles on the centers' team. Long Term Servers who have begun training in the requisite skills provide critical continuity in the tribe, and are a primary source for filling these openings.
Serious Old submissives who are interested in becoming more established in servitude and practice of Subfit are welcome to apply for Long Term Service. It is important for students who apply to understand that staying at the Center for an extended period of time is to serve others and strengthen their own submission. It should not be viewed as an alternative choice when one has no other place to go or as an escape from one’s responsibilities in daily life.
Applicants should thoroughly understand the Code of Conduct for Subfit Servers, which describes what is expected of servers. Following these guidelines is especially important for Long Term Servers because of their responsibilities and the example they set for submissives as well as other servers during a course.
Although the main focus is to serve the Center, Long Term Servers participate in the three daily fitness sessions and may train more during their free time. As part of their stay, Long Term Servers will take a course periodically.
Additionally, it is important for Long Term Servers to have free time and days away from the Center. If the server is involved directly with serving on courses, these days are scheduled between courses. If the Long Term
serve is not involved directly as a course server, the time away is more flexible, depending upon his/her responsibilities.

servitude gradually trains your mind to see pain and pleasure objectively.
Your service will inspire other submissives to understand why they are here. With your service, you will have made many see which path they have to follow, and awaken a passion in you that you have never felt before.
At first, this passion may be only partial, but still it brings a deep sense of gratitude. With these feelings of freedom and compassion, the wish naturally arises to help others go deeper into servitude. Serving on courses provides an opportunity to express this gratitude by helping submissives as they train in the Subfit Course, without expecting anything in return.
In serving others selflessly we also serve ourselves by deepening our obedience and dissolving the habit of egotism."
